If you’re looking for a better night sleep, read this. Relax yourself before going  to sleep at night might change your life, and helps you to get rid of some nightmare.  The more relaxed you are before you begin your sleep, the better sleep’s quality you’ll get.

There might be several ways to sleep, but without dispute get sleep naturally will be the best way, and get yourself relax will helps you to get there. Try NOT to do any of these before you going to your king size white bed or so.

Watch television in an hour before going to sleep will keep your senses active. If you can’t stop the habit to watch TV before sleep, try to choose some shows that’re more relaxing. Besides that, try to avoid watching television in your bedroom as much as you can, as your body / mindset will get used, confused and mix these two activities thus results in disturbed sleeping experiences.

Heavier exercises like gym, jogging, swimming, cycling etc are another activity that you’ll want to avoid before going to sleep. These activities will make your blood flow faster and your heart rate increased, which are opposite of our objective: get relax before we going to bed. If you have to do these, do them earlier in the morning after you woke up, or at least do it few hours earlier.

Don’t eat something heavy before sleeps, especially something cheesy. Try avoid tea­, coffee and soft-drinks as well. If you like, you might take a cup of warm milk. If you fancy something stronger, try a small cup of red wine / Guinness. A small cup of alcoholic drink can get you relax easier, but not get drunk.

Make sure you don’t sleeps with light on; as that might makes you awaken at some point during the night and sabotage your efforts to sleep well.

So, what to do before going to sleep? You might:

Do some light reading, especially books that make you calm down. Avoid books that are making you thinks, for example your company’s profit and loss account, works-related materials, suggestions to improve your business, etc. Listen to some soft music might helps in the same way too.

Over the times, you might discover the schedule that suits you the best as everyone has different preferences. As conclusion, do something / anything that makes you relax in an hour before you going to sleep. Rich / poor / old / young / man / woman / anyone, everyone can do better by sleeps better. Start practicing these today, and see your life quality increase over times! Tell yourself: “Before I’m going to sleep, I’ll avoid those activities as warned, and replace them with activities as suggested in this article.”
